New Home Check is a company of individuals dedicated to ensuring you are happy with your newly constructed home. You didn't purchase a new home with the expectation of anxiety brought about by construction details and paperwork! Plain and simple, owners of brand new homes have different needs than those who are purchasing re-sale properties. New construction requires up-to-date knowledge of codes, new building materials/techniques and a solid understanding of TARION and the home building industry. Our Founder

Tom Woolley, the COO and founder of New Home Check, has been described by his clients as 'having an uncanny knack for detail and the ability to communicate in a clear and friendly manner'. Tom has been in and around the home inspection industry for 20+ years. Thirteen of those years were spent running Boulevard Property Inspection; a very well respected company based in Mississauga. As Boulevard served more and more home buyers, it was noticed by the largest independent home inspection company in Canada, Carson Dunlop & Associates. In 2003, Boulevard was bought by Carson Dunlop and the two companies became one. Tom stayed on with Carson Dunlop as a trainer, mentor and quality control expert.

Having personally completed 8,000+ inspections and overseeing an additional 4,000+ per year, Tom recognized a void in the inspection world that could not be ignored. New home owners had nowhere to turn for specific advice on the purchase of this type of home. New Home Check came to life with a desire to help home buyers get the full, positive experience and is Tom's true passion. Welcome to our company!
